What Is a Deep Link? Meaning for Forex Affiliate Tracking

Partner Federation Glossary — last updated September 2026

Deep Link is a tracking link that sends a referred visitor straight to a specific page on the broker’s site — a particular account type, a specific promotion, a funded-account challenge — rather than just the broker’s homepage, while still preserving the partner’s tracking ID so the referral gets credited correctly.

Why It Matters for Partners

A homepage-only link makes a visitor navigate the broker’s site themselves, and every extra click or confusing menu along the way is a chance to lose them before they convert. Deep links remove that friction by dropping a referred visitor exactly where the partner’s content promised — which is why programs that support deep linking usually convert better on content promoting a specific account type or offer than ones that only offer a generic homepage link.
